Saturday Mornings

I am so in love with Saturday mornings. They’re becoming sacred time for me, and I hope they are for you, too. Make time to cook some brekky, read a book, or meet a friend.

I don’t know about you, but a lot of times I find myself listening to the same 3 worship songs over and over again. And then I’m over them and I move on. Healthy, I know. So I decided to put a massive playlist together of all the songs, albums, and artists I love. It’s called “There’s Room at The Table.” I think a lot of you already have your own massive playlist, but if you’re wanting to branch out, go ahead and check it out! It’s almost 11 hours long. So push shuffle and get praisin’.

These are lyrics to one of my favorite songs by Andrea Marie called Running Out. It kills me every time I listen.

I’ve tried to make it all work out
But I’m running out of good ideas
Tried my best but all I’ve seen
Is humanity, running out of good ideas

You are who you say you are
And thats’ different than I ever thought you would be

Letting go of what I’ve known
I’m coming out, I’m coming out of bad ideas
You’re all that I want to believe

Here’s the thing – I know I’m usually behind in this genre. I admit that. So! That being said… If there is some crucial song/artist I’m missing out on, please don’t leave me in the dark. Tell me! I want to know! I mean like I seriously didn’t hear “Reckless Love” until January 2018. I know what you’re thinking. She’s a horrible Christian. I know, like how dare I not know. So here I am, thanking Him for new mercies this morning. 🙂

Here are 6 albums highlighted in this playlist that you freaking. have. to. know.

1. Josh Garrels. 2. Harvest Bashta. 3. Hunter G K Thompson.
4. Andrea Marie. 5. Ashley White. 6. Ryan Ellis.

Listen to There’s Room at the Table now.

Cheers – have the BEST weekend.

Jaime
